PN Review is a poetry magazine founded in 1973. Issued six times a year, it features eighty pages of news, articles, interviews, essays, poems, translations, and reviews. It’s edited by Michael Schmidt and Luke Allan, who joined the magazine as deputy editor and chief designer in 2015.
Co-Founding Editor, Butcher’s Dog
Butcher’s Dog is a poetry magazine founded in Newcastle in 2013. New issues emerge every six months. The magazine supports the work of emerging poets and offers more established writers the chance to guest-edit individual issues.
Pain, a journal of new poetry, essays, interviews and reviews, was founded by Vala Thorodds and Luke Allan ni 2017. The magazine is published by Partus Press. Contributors include Vahni Capildeo, Sam Riviere, Sophie Robinson, and André Naffis-Sahely.
Quait is a journal of concrete and formal poetry. Each issue is dedicated to a different poetic form. Established in 2012 and currently edited from Manchester, the journal has featured new work by Lavinia Greenlaw, Aram Sayoran, Pam Rehm, and many others.
